Yard notebook / PC full release — November 2026

Prestige and trail unlocks: which requirement to work on

For more riding routes, the launch guide lists Advanced Forest at 10% prestige, Beach at 30% and Mountains at 40%. Cross Country Forest has a separate condition: win Novice Cross Country, then buy the 2,500-coin upgrade. Use the available Home Forest routes while progressing. These unlock thresholds come from one launch management guide, not an official complete map.

The decision, step by step

  1. Identify whether the lock is prestige or a competition result

Start with the destination you want. Home Forest is available from the beginning; Advanced Forest, Beach and Mountains have reported prestige gates. Cross Country Forest uses the Novice Cross Country win and purchase instead.

Beach30% prestigeBeachside Stroll; Public Beach; Through the Dunes
Mountains40% prestigeMountain Hike; Mountain Peak Trail; By the Ravine
  2. Build prestige through tasks you can finish well

Complete quests, care for boarders successfully and prepare horses for competition wins. Building upgrades and your yard’s financial/horse performance also contribute according to the guide. Do not buy every upgrade just to chase a percentage; the higher running cost remains after the unlock.

  3. Protect the prestige you already earned

Avoid entering with a dirty horse or unsuitable competition clothing, and keep welfare and boarding commitments under control. Poor competition performance and neglected horses can reduce prestige. If a repeated hard course is costing trust and results, return to training rather than repeating an unready entry.

  4. Treat Cross Country Forest as its own progression route

Complete the discipline’s license and win Beginner before progressing to Novice Cross Country. After the Novice win, budget the stated 2,500 coins for the forest upgrade. A sufficient-looking prestige percentage alone does not replace the competition result.

  5. Recheck access after meeting the correct condition

Return to the desired trail entry after reaching its requirement. If it is still locked, confirm the correct prestige threshold for that area or both the Novice Cross Country win and purchase for Cross Country Forest. Use the conditions shown in your save. This page lists destinations and unlocks; follow the route in-game once it opens.

What success looks like

The intended trail area is available after its matching prestige or competition-and-purchase condition. You choose a route suitable for the horse’s condition and exercise budget.

If the result is different

If the route stays locked, compare its exact area with the table and confirm that a required win and upgrade were both completed. If a horse cannot enter despite an unlocked route, check its age, Medical status and current state. If a shop unlock is the blocker, keep it separate from trail access and read its own requirement.
